We took charred American white oak barrels previously used for Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon and aged our select green coffee beans in them for 30 days.
After roasting they emerge with an amazingly rich aroma that's released upon grinding - reminiscent of a fine Manattan. Best brewed as a pour over, you'll enjoy hints of vanilla, ripe stone fruit, and a smooth bourbony oak finish. The coffee continues to develop complex flavors after brewing and is best enjoyed with 2-3 minutes of cooling.
